Caxias do Sul (RS), February 24, 2014 – The Stedile Group, formed by the companies AGRALE S.A. and its subsidiaries, as well as AGRITECH LAVRALE, FUNDITUBA, GERMANI ALIMENTOS, GERMANI CEREAIS and FAZENDA TRÊS RIOS, surpassed the mark of R$1.72 billion in sales last year, US$46 million of which in exports. The Group has 3,600 direct employees and 11 industrial plants in Brazil and abroad. Its operations are focused on the automotive, defense and security equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling, power generation, food and farming sectors.

The flagship company AGRALE S.A, and its subsidiaries, which account for 73% of the Group’s total sales volume, grew 17.2% in 2013 from 2012 and 36.1% in the past two years, mainly driven by sales of chassis for microbuses (a segment in which it is the market leader), military vehicles and farm tractors.

In 2014, where the scenario is less optimistic, AGRALE expects to reap the good results of its recent product launches, such as the 17-ton bus chassis, the medium-sized tractors of its advanced 500 line and the new 4x4 1.5-ton and 2.5-ton Agrale Marruá military vehicles.
